Questions for AEG

Councilmember Bill Rosendahl recently sent three letters to the Chief Legislative Analyst and the Chief Administrative Officer regarding the stadium proposal from AEG. You probably heard about plans to build a football stadium and convention space next to the Staples Center. AEG says it won't use taxpayer money to fund project - yet is asking the City to sell bonds as part of the deal. Rosendahl's inquiring mind is curious to know is this really as good a deal as the developer claims?

I have some questions regarding the proposal from the Anschutz Entertainment Group to build a football stadium next to the Staples Center. Many of them come from constituents who certainly deserve answers. If this is as good a deal for the city and its taxpayers as the developer claims, it will be easy to produce clear and concise written answers to the critical questions.
