LAX: The Mayor Weighs In

Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa has weighed in on the debate over a proposal to move the north runway at LAX over purported safety threats on the north airfield.

A few days ago, the mayor sent a letter to the head of the FAA, explaining that he is opposed to moving the runway unless the FAA can clearly demonstrate a threat to public safety.
